Women in the Workforce Conference: A Forum on Global Issues and Actions

This conference is hosted by the National Council of Jewish Women San Francisco and the Consulate Generals of Israel and Mexico. The forum is co-sponsored by the San Francisco Department on the Status of Women and the California Commission on the Status of Women and Girls. 

Join us as representatives of government agencies, foreign governments, corporations, and non-profit organizations speak about existing policies and practices to successfully integrate women into the workforce. Learn more about the details in the afternoon breakout workshops. The keynote speaker will be U.S. Secretary of Labor's Regional Representative, Elmy Bermejo. Other featured speakers and moderators are Mariam Kabaha, Commissioner of Social Equality, Israeli Ministry of Economy; Nancy Kirshner Rodgriguez, Executive Director, CA Commission on the Status of Women and Girls; Emily Murase, Executive Director, SF Department on the Status of Women; and a representative of the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
